Hyperdilute Radiesse
Hyperdilute Radiesse
Radiesse® is a dermal filler made of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) gel microspheres that work immediately upon injection. CaHA is comprised of phosphate and calcium, which occur naturally in the human body.
Radiesse® can be used as a volumizing dermal filler for facial wrinkles folds, such as nasolabial folds (creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). Radiesse® is also used for restoring volume in the cheeks.
A newer and highly effective use for Radiesse® is the technique of hyperdilution. When diluted and injected superficially, Radiesse® acts as a collagen and elastin stimulating agent. The Hyperdilute Radiesse® technique combines the filler with saline and lidocaine, thinning the consistency and increasing the volume of product. The Hyperdilute Radiesse® is then injected into the desired area through a thin cannula.
The biostimulatory power of Hyperdilute Radiesse® helps:
-
Rejuvenate the skin
-
Improve skin texture
-
Correct volume loss and wrinkles
-
Improve the appearance of cellulite

What can I expect with Hyperdilute Radiesse® treatment?
A blunt-tipped cannula technique is used to deliver Radiesse® which decreases the opportunity for bruising and increases patient comfort during the procedure. The cannula allows placement of the hyperdilute Radiesse® into thinner, superficial layers of thin skin where the skin is crepe-like and saggy.
When will I see results and how long will they last?
Results of collagen remodeling take time. With Hyperdilute Radiesse®, new collagen and elastin production begins as early as 4 weeks. Natural-looking results last a year or more.
How many treatments of Hyperdilute Radiesse® will I require?
One to three treatment sessions 6 weeks apart may be needed in the first year to achieve optimal aesthetic results.
Is there downtime? What are the side effects?
There is little to no downtime with Hyperdilute Radiesse® treatment. There can be some slight bruising at the injection sites, but this is minimal thanks to the use of the cannula. Patients can get right back to their normal activities immediately after their session.
