When you meet with the physician, she will explain to you the Botox® treatment in detail and will assess your skin and review your medical history. You will be asked about any allergies you may have and what, if any, medications you are taking. All of your questions will be answered and the physician will determine if you are a good candidate for Botox® Cosmetic.

The Botox® Cosmetic Procedure and Recovery:

The physician will administer several tiny injections of Botox® directly into the muscles that cause those moderate to severe wrinkles. Most patients compare the sensation to a pinprick. The entire Botox® treatment takes approximately 10 minutes. 

 

You may resume normal activity immediately but refrain from exercising or lying down for four hours after the treatment. You should see a marked improvement within a few days. Results can last up to 4 months, although results may vary.
